For 10 years, Big Mama has been striving to make you happy by providing quality surf lessons on the magnificent North Beach. In 2017, we’re looking forward to some big changes: a new team with Romain and Adrien who will welcome you with professionalism and good humour, new formulas and some surprises. The school
We’re located at the entrance to the Plage Nord access road, close to the Airotel and Grands Pins campsites.
Big Mama is a comfortable surf school, with a large surface area, changing rooms, showers and toilets to welcome you in the best conditions. We also attach great importance to renewing our teaching equipment to guarantee your safety and progress. Finally, our instructors are always on hand in the water to help and encourage you, making us one of the best surf schools in Lacanau.
BIG SHOP
In our surf shop, you’ll find everything you need to become a great surfer or a great beachcomber. We can equip you for your solo surfing trip: foam or epoxy surfboards, bodyboards, fins, wetsuits, leashes, FCS daggerboards, wax…
But we’re also thinking about lazy days. That’s why we offer discounted sunglasses, Cool Shoes flip-flops, sticks and environmentally-friendly EQ sun creams in our surf shop.
Finally, our Big Mama clothing line also offers you the opportunity to have a little souvenir and to advertise your favourite school. Sweatshirts, hoodies, teeshirts and caps will allow you to show off at the end of your holidays in front of your friends and colleagues.
BIG CAFÉ
Discover our relaxation area with an outdoor terrace where you can quench your thirst and grab a bite to eat in our little bar with your instructor during the debriefing of your surf session. We offer snacks, ice creams, cold drinks and hot beverages. All in a surfing atmosphere with videos and a reading area on a comfortable sofa.
